There are a lot of debates about the best flavors for Halloween or Fall. Some will tell you mint and chocolate. Others will tell you something sour will be a hit. However, we’ve always been big fans of the combination of chocolate and peanut butter. These easy fall or Halloween peanut butter cups are the ideal treats for your next Halloween get-together.
Easy Fall or Halloween Peanut Butter Cups
This recipe makes one dozen peanut butter cups.

Ingredients
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 12 oz bag orange candy melts
Directions

Start by lining a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.

Add peanut butter and powdered sugar to a small bowl.

Stir until completely combined.

Pour the candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals. Make sure to store between each 30-second heating session to avoid clumping until fully melted. (You can use the double boiler method instead if you prefer.)

Get a spoonful of melted candy and drizzle it on the bottom of each cupcake liner. Make sure it fully covers the bottom.

Gather a teaspoon full of the peanut butter mixture. Drop it in the center of the melted candy. You will want to gently spread it a bit throughout the middle. Make sure not to let it go too close to the edges.

Drizzle another spoonful of melted candy on top of the peanut butter. Make sure to fully cover the top so that it will seal the peanut butter in.

Gently smooth it out with the spoon.
Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to set. Serve at your event or enjoy them when you take them out of the freezer.
