Do you love all things pumpkin this time of year? I’m not a great baker, but these pumpkin blondies are so delicious! If you have never tried blondies, here’s a simple way to make a fall treat to share. Let’s bake!
How to Make Blondies
This recipe will make about nine blondies and take 40 minutes with prep time. You will need flour, baking powder, cornstarch, salt, butter, brown sugar, an egg, vanilla, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and chocolate chips.
If you want to try a fun brownie style pan for unique blondies, try one of these from Amazon. You can still use this recipe, just use one of these fun pans! Some give you a “corner” on every bite (I do love the corners!) or you can try the bite-size brownie pan for a smaller portion.
Pumpkin Blondie Recipe Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt. Set aside.
Add the egg and vanilla and beat to combine.
Mix in the dry ingredients until well mixed.
Separate half the batter into a different bowl and add the pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Mix to combine.
In the other bowl, fold in the chocolate chips.
Spoon each batter into the lined baking dish, alternating between pumpkin batter and chocolate chip batter.
Then, use a flat spatula to smooth the batter into the pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan, then remove them from the pan and cut them into 9 bars before serving.
