One of my favorite things to do is open mail…especially when it’s a fun surprise box! I was thrilled to receive a new subscription box from Taste of Home that was filled with perfect gifts for your favorite home chef…or yourself! ;) Look for spices, herbs, kitchen accessories, and more in every box!
Let’s unbox this!
I immediately was drawn to this particular spice…
I have never seen a spicy chocolate cinnamon cane sugar, and it can add a unique flavor to your favorite holiday dishes.
This sponge cloth was also something that I had never seen before. You can use this instead of paper towels and sponges. Special Delivery from Taste of Home was launched as a collection of gifts that are curated by their test kitchen to add fun and whimsy to your life. And, I can see how they hold true to their purpose. Everything in this box was something that I either needed, wanted but hadn’t bought before, or was something that I needed to replace.
The boxes can also include cooking gadgets that you NEED! I received a fun spatula that I used in my baking today.
Every box has a beautiful cookbook with featured recipes from Taste of Home. Plus, you receive recipe cards to help inspire you to get started with the gifts that you receive in your box.

Let’s get bakin’!
After school snacks can be anything from popcorn, granola bars, or every so often, a sweet treat. My son helped me bake these brownies, but he ended up falling asleep before decorating! These brownie bars came to life with a special chocolate frosting that had a bit of heat thanks to the spicy seasoning!
You can use this chocolate sauce on anything, but I paired it with these brownies for a flavorful punch of flavor.
